Job summary

KyungshinLear is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Alabama to oversee all warehouse activities, optimize the flow of goods, and lead staff to meet procedures that enhance financial performance. The role reports to the Plant Manager within the Production department and is exempt.

The ideal candidate will have seven years of related experience (or equivalent), strong MS Office skills, and a track record of cost reduction and service improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
  • Seven years related experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with Plant Manager to control operating costs.
  • Performs quarterly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports.
  • Monitors and controls the order process, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of products.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains processes to reduce costs and increase customer service.
  • Coordinates activities of departments to deliver efficient material movement to drive costs/inventory investment down while improving accuracy and response time to customers.
  • Manages the supply chain at the plant level, interfacing with vendors, third-party providers, and the materials/supply chain system.
  • Oversees scheduling of production and packaging operations, procurement of materials, inventory control, and the effective utilization of personnel within the materials/logistics group.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

About the role

Manages and coordinates all warehouse activities, operations, and staff to ensure conformance to established procedures; implements practices that improve the effectiveness and financial performance of the supply chain.
