Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to uphold the master production schedule and manage material transactions from receiving to shipping. You will work with Logistics to ensure shipments meet internal policies and customer expectations, while maintaining inventory accuracy and driving improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, 5+ years in manufacturing, proficiency with ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, planning, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Upholds the master production schedule and supports progress of production orders.
• Manages material transactions from receiving to shipping.
• Works closely with Logistics teams to ensure shipments comply with policies and customer expectations.
• Monitors customer shipment requirements to improve satisfaction and service efficiency.
• Maintains inventory control and performs cycle counting, monthly and annual inventory.
• Upholds logistics policies and agreements that benefit the business.
• Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement.
• Leads and mentors the team to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Upholds the master production schedule and supports progress of production orders.
• Manages material transactions from receiving to shipping.
• Works closely with Logistics teams to ensure all shipments are managed effectively through internal controls and policies in accordance with customer expectations. Ensures shipment compliance with company standards and policies.
• Monitors and supports customer shipment requirements to improve customer satisfaction and service efficiency.
• Maintains inventory control, inventory levels, and execution of cycle counting and monthly and annual inventory.
• Upholds logistics policies and agreements, including mode, carrier, and supplier agreements that benefit the overall business.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement process by identifying areas of improvement.
• Leads, mentors, and manages team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and collective success while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
