Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI) is seeking a Production Control & Logistics Associate for the day shift in Parma, MI. This full-time, manual labor role supports production by supplying raw materials to lines, maintaining inventory, and handling packing and repack tasks.

Training will be provided; prior experience is welcome but not required. Responsibilities include operating forklift and tugger, scanning materials, and communicating shortages or overages to production scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for internal hire (not required for temporary employees).
• Able to follow directions and perform work accurately.
• Basic reading and math skills; basic computer navigation.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
• Regularly lift 35 pounds; able to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials to assembly lines as part of Production while maintaining bulk warehouse inventory.
• Repack raw rotors and aluminum parts into production bins and totes.
• Operate forklift and tugger; scan materials from warehouse to line.
• Communicate parts shortages or overages to production scheduling.
• Follow plant layout and warehouse procedures; support distribution.

We are filling positions in these departments:

• Production Control & Logistics - Distribution Associates supply raw material to assembly lines as an indirect function to Production while maintaining bulk warehouse inventory and repack process. This work requires knowledge of AS400 program, Items program, all warehouse locations, and plant layout. Additionally, distribution requires the ability to operate forklift and tugger, scan all material from warehouse to line, repack raw rotors into production bins, repack aluminum parts into totes, and communicate parts shortages or overages for production scheduling.

Qualifications and Requirements:

MACI Schedule:

• Full-time - minimum 5 days a week, weekends possible
• Average 8-10.5 hours each day

PC Logistics Core Hours are 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime occurs AFTER shift. Diecast routes follow variable compressor Machining's core hours.
