Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Production Control Manager for its Belmont, Mississippi location. The role oversees day-to-day and strategic production control planning, scheduling, and material flow to meet customer requirements while optimizing asset utilization and costs.

Key duties include planning raw components, issuing POs, managing inventory and freight, scheduling production, BOM maintenance, and leading cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance related area.
• 3 Years’ experience in planning, inventory, or purchasing areas.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly.
• Effective leader and collaborator across all levels of the company.
• Excellent report building and analytical skills.
• Effective communicator and presenter.

Responsibilities

• Manages the department and the development of standard procedures to allocate and control resources and materials effectively.
• Establishes monitoring and processes to identify and plan for problem resolution with demand changes, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations.
• collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and develop best practices to achieve requirements.
