Job summary

Tank Connection, Parsons, KS, is seeking a Production Control Clerk to handle administrative duties supporting the production control department. Responsibilities include maintaining work orders, part labels, and shipping manifests, and releasing galvanized tags.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with strong proficiency in G-Suite, Word, Outlook and Excel, and a willingness to learn ERP/ETO and PDM software. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 months – 1 year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with G-Suite, MS Word, Outlook and Excel; ability to learn ERP/ETO and PDM software.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains files and records including work orders, part labels, and shipping manifests for documentation.
• Print, organize and release Galvanized part tags.
• Assist with photocopying, filing, and related clerical duties.
• Check manifests for accuracy before releasing to production.
• Assist Production Planners and Specialists with tasks as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
