Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Production Control Process Control CCR to oversee the central control room operations, monitor production lines, and ensure data accuracy across systems. Collaborative with MES and other departments to maintain smooth production flow.

The role requires a manufacturing or industrial engineering background, US work authorization, and preferred automotive industry experience. Domestic/international travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major).
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Years of experience in automotive industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive industry, production processes, and manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line and monitor all aspects of production (CCR).
• Monitor all production aspects including trial vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle data is correct in the system and confirm stations.
• Control WBS/PBS In and Out processes when needed.
• Meet daily and monthly sign-off targets for production goals.
• Monitor downtime and issues across shops and report findings.
• Maintain computer systems and ensure they function properly.
• Produce performance reports and distribute daily/weekly to departments.
• Check runtime hours for each shop.
• Process requests from other departments.
• Monitor delayed and trial vehicles to ensure proper processing.
• Collaborate with MES team on system/process issues.
• Coordinate with departments on requests related to production, kick-outs/ins, inventory shortages, and quality issues.
