Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in the Stafford, CT area is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate work orders, materials, and production flow to ensure on-time delivery.

You will update daily schedules, generate ship lists, and collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and the production teams to meet customer commitments. Strong MS Office skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate production schedules and material flow.
  • Maintain production records and inventories.

Scope

Applies thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices related to identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to meet production schedules Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are generally routine to moderately complex relative to scheduling and coordinating the flow of parts, material and work within or between departments
  • Compiles and maintains manual and computerized records such as production schedules, material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials
  • Update production schedule daily
  • Produces Scheduled Daily Ship List
  • Provides kit lists for items that work orders are released according to the master schedule
  • Works with Kitting / Oracle Issues related to materials and work orders
  • Identifies any work orders not closed and works to reconcile
  • Produce key production reports in support of the production meetings
  • Facilitate the restart process, ensures timely completion of restart to protect customer commitments and delivery requirements
  • Supports all system based aspects of production scheduling
  • Supports cross functional communication between key members of management, engineering and the production team
  • Coordinate outside service return dates with Purchasing
  • Facilitate communication with sales regarding all aspects of schedule including but not limited to commitments for shipment of product

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
