Job summary

S&S Activewear’s PRIME division is seeking a Production Control Clerk to serve as the liaison between customers and production operations. You will execute order changes across warehouse, production and shipping, coordinating daily with production supervisors, schedulers, order management, sales and customer service.

This role requires fluent communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Customer Service, Inside Sales, Order Management and Arts questions
• Monitor the production changes inbox constantly to execute changes and assist internal customers
• Ensure changes sent to the production changes pending inbox are being made and paperwork for orders on the production floor updated as needed
• Review reports for orders not on press, work with the warehouse to get the order to the floor, partner with customer‑facing teams where client contact is needed
• Review scheduled orders for non‑standard ship methods, ensuring those order types are noticed and prioritized accordingly
• Proactively communicate to Customer Service the need to notify customers of delayed orders
• Effectively communicate any customer‑related issues to applicable departments or sales reps
• Work closely with other planner/schedulers to ensure there are no scheduling gaps
• Cross‑train as a backup scheduler to understand the role and fill personnel voids; verify accuracy of production on machine
