Position: Production Control Clerk

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Minimum Starting Pay: $21 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Production Control Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime during peak seasons including weekends. The role involves supporting and monitoring ongoing orders, managing manufacturing operations data, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as liaison between customer service, manufacturing, and distribution centers regarding order specifications.
2. Educate oneself on Herff Jones business systems and seek process improvements.
3. Monitor scheduled dates to ensure work completion.
4. Participate in cross-training across departments.
5. Prepare work tickets and labels for manufacturing.
6. Create and maintain data spreadsheets.
7. Report scheduling conflicts.
8. Perform transactions in the manufacturing system, such as inventory adjustments and job tracking.
9. Support additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and think critically.
