The primary focus of this position is to perform duties in a manufacturing environment, specifically within Distribution and Inventory areas. All duties and procedures are to be performed according to established standards and in compliance with company and governing policies. Regular, prompt attendance is required, along with availability for overtime as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Distribution:
• Frame Receiving: Match and verify incoming frames against work orders awaiting delivery.
• Frame Tracing: Remove lenses from frames, operate tracing machines, mark lenses for axis orientation, and calibrate machines.
• Frame Management: Match frames and lenses to ensure timely product launch and prioritization.
• Shipping: Prepare invoices by scanning trays, match invoices to tray numbers, wrap finished jobs, and label boxes for shipping.
• Lens Receiving: Store lenses in correct inventory locations and rotate stock.
• Lens Pick: Select appropriate lenses from shelves, verifying correctness with work tickets.
• Lens Ordering: Manage lenses, create orders to send to suppliers, and assist customer service with lens availability.
• Outsourcing: Coordinate sending or receiving lens orders within the supporting EssilorLuxottica lab network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English.
• Basic numerical skills including addition, subtraction, decimal understanding, and sequence comparison.
• Requires close, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Capable of fine motor skills, including grasping, feeling objects, transferring small items, and bilateral arm reach.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures; multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Able to stand for 8 or more hours daily.
• Capable of performing repetitive motions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience and/or training.
