Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to make changes.
• Ability to perform material handling with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pick up, handle, inspect and sort varieties of textile and houseware items.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally.
• Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

• Rotates stock in accordance with defined guidelines.
• Recovers product on sales floor to ensure established merchandising guidelines.
• Prepares material for transportation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

A Production Clerk will work in the collection, processing, stocking, and sale of used goods. Production Clerk will process raw donations from donors and prepare for movement to the retail sales floor. Production Clerk will also occasionally operate a cash register and perform store recovery operations.
