Job summary

V2X Inc in Indianapolis seeks a Production Chief Engineer for the Weapons System Integration team. You will serve as the technical authority, own the baseline, lead cross-disciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and test, and coordinate with Program Managers and customer technical leadership.

You will drive gate reviews, manage technical risks, ensure DoD compliance, and support proposals with BOE and architecture development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams on defense programs.
• Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle and V-model processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority and design owner for assigned programs.
• Develop, maintain, and control technical baseline, architecture, and interfaces.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams across systems, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and test.
• Act as customer-facing technical lead for reviews and program execution.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to ensure cost, schedule, and performance goals.
