Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to formulate bulk products of medium to high complexity, including some custom recipes, following approved procedures. You will propose corrective actions to improve quality and process efficiency, and perform root-cause analyses for quality notifications with recommendations.

The role also includes variance reviews for process orders, production data trending, and training other employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field.
• 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent. Experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in handling hazardous chemicals and/or biological hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in a product team and make decisions of limited scope, subject to review.
• Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Laboratory Practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bulk formulating products of medium to high complexity including some custom recipes in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.
• Proposes and/or completes corrective actions to improve product quality or process efficiency.
• Able to perform simple to moderate complexity Root Cause Analysis for Quality Notifications and make recommendations for Corrective Actions.
• Variance review and makes necessary notations for process orders for Supervisors and Finance.
• Must be able to perform production data trending.
• Trains other employees
