Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in the United States seeks a manufacturing associate to bulk formulate products of medium to high complexity following approved procedures.

You will propose corrective actions to improve product quality and efficiency, and perform simple to moderate root-cause analysis for quality notifications. You will review production data, train other employees, and work in a GMP environment handling hazardous chemicals and/or biological materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
• 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in biological/life sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals and/or biological hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform variance review and make notations for process orders for Supervisors and Finance.
• Perform production data trending.

Job description

Responsible for bulk formulating products of medium to high complexity including some custom recipes in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.

Proposes and/or completes corrective actions to improve product quality or process efficiency.

Able to perform simple to moderate complexity Root Cause Analysis for Quality Notifications and make recommendations for Corrective Actions.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
• Work Experience: : 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent. Experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in handling hazardous chemicals and/or biological hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in a product team and make decisions of limited scope, subject to review.
• Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Laboratory Practices.

Compensation

The estimated hourly range for this position is $23.94- $32.88 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
