Position Overview: As a Production Chef at EatFlavorly, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and production in a high-volume, commercial kitchen setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and safety while working collaboratively with our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook high-quality meals following established recipes and production standards.
· Ensure consistency and precision in food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
· Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries.
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
· Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards, focusing on taste, presentation, and quality.
· Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring regular maintenance and cleaning.
· Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation practices, including proper food storage and temperature control.
· Contribute to a positive team environment, working together to meet goals and solve problems as they arise.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a line chef, production chef, or in a similar role in a commercial kitchen setting.
· Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
· Food Handler Certification
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Flexibility to work some weekends as needed.
· Passion for food and commitment to culinary excellence.
