Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess site-defined certifications.
• Knowledge of board assembly process and product flow.
• Knowledge of soldering specifications and SMT processing.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with components and address them.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with team to high quality production under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and documentation control systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and facilitates movement of product through area of responsibility.
• Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members.
• Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products.
• Monitors quantity and quality output and leads production or prototype team to meet group goals.
• Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance.
• Possesses foundation skills and appropriate technical/leadership skills.
