Job summary
Carrier Climate Solutions in Collierville, TN is seeking a skilled Production Automation Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team. You will drive continuous process improvements, maximize system reliability, and ensure peak efficiency of production lines.
Onsite work with 1st shift and overtime is required. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable operations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- Experience with automation/controls in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and modifications on PLCs, VFDs, plant networking, and automated systems.
- Lead high-impact projects to optimize manufacturing processes and implement advanced tech.
- Serve as technical go-to for maintenance team on complex troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Maximize uptime by ensuring equipment reliability and repeatability with thorough documentation.
