Job summary

Voltage Energy in Timberlake, NC is seeking Production Associates to build wire harnesses to engineering specifications in our manufacturing operation. You will work under an Area Lead across cutting, crimping, assembly and testing, with training provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately (for wire coding).
  • Basic math and reading skills to follow work instructions and labels.
  • Willingness to learn and follow standardized processes.
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience with wire harness assembly, electronics, or hand tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build wire harnesses according to standard work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
  • Operate production equipment such as cutting machines, crimp presses, assembly fixtures, and test stations.
  • Perform self-inspections and first-article verification to ensure quality.
  • Identify and elevate quality issues, material defects, or equipment concerns.
  • Complete production tracking and system entries with training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in alignment with 5S practices.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
  • Cross-train in multiple production areas to support operational flexibility.
