Job Description

We are seeking Production Associates - Trimmer position for our Conneaut, Ohio Plant.

Summary:

Assist with the operation of compression molding presses and other equipment to produce high-quality products for our customers. Responsibilities include reducing scrap, maintaining production requirements/shipments, and working overtime when necessary. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate the trimmer’s “Press Close” station correctly and promptly.
• Unload molds safely, efficiently, and promptly.
• Check all equipment for proper operation at the start of each shift and review communications for any deviations from the normal process.
• Understand the process and follow production procedures. Notify the Supervisor promptly of any mechanical, process, or quality issues.
• Inspect parts to ensure all operations are completed satisfactorily, following instructions and visual aids.
• Perform housekeeping duties within the workstation during and at the end of the shift.
• Keep the station neat and report safety hazards immediately.
• Assist the press operator with charge placement when required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
• Good assembly skills and dexterity.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work at a quick pace.
• Experience with machine operation preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and use hand or power tools.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay at $15 per hour, with increases at 90 days.
• Shift premiums of $1 for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay Range (estimates may vary):
