Job description

Position Description Summary: Supervises production associates engaged in loading and unloading freight, managing materials across multiple systems, and overseeing the assembly and installation of server racks and components.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees, organizes, and coordinates cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns.
  2. Ensures safety protocols are followed to protect personnel and property.
  3. Provides guidance and support to subordinates regarding work activities.
  4. Monitors work and inspects production areas for accuracy, neatness, and policy compliance.
  5. Recommends and implements procedural improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
  6. Assists or performs duties alongside subordinates as needed.

Working Environment:

  • Assignment Complexity: Uses multiple internal and external systems to ensure process compliance and accuracy.
  • Accountability: Maintains service level agreements and enforces safety standards.
  • Impact of Decisions: Errors or failure to meet goals could lead to increased costs, delays, and personnel issues.
  • Working Relationships: Regular interaction with customers, peers, and site stakeholders.

Essential Functions: Must pass all relevant background checks and drug tests. This is an entry-level leadership role requiring strong interpersonal and analytical skills. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary, with 3-6 years in material handling preferred.
