Role Overview

The Warehouse Production Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a warehouse facility by contributing to the production and distribution of goods. Responsibilities include handling, organizing, and processing inventory, operating equipment, maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and collaborating with team members to meet production targets and customer demands. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery documents.
  • Unload, unpack, and sort merchandise or materials, ensuring accurate labeling and identification.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations, following proper storage procedures.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify and report discrepancies or issues with inventory.
Order Fulfillment and Production
  • Retrieve items from inventory based on order requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assemble and package products according to standard operating procedures.
  • Operate machinery or equipment required for production.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and prioritize workload.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and perform quality checks on finished products.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, following proper training and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality and report malfunctions or damage.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Workplace Safety and Organization
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including aisles, storage areas, and production stations.
  • Follow safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
  • Participate in safety training and promote safety awareness.
  • Report safety hazards or risks to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Complete necessary paperwork like receiving reports, production logs, and inventory records.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Preferably experience in manufacturing with food products.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 100lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and protocols.
Pay Range

$17 - $20 USD per hour (Confidential)
