Job summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for 1st shift in Springfield, MO. The role involves assembling engines or engine components, following written work instructions, and maintaining quality standards on the line.

Candidates should be dependable and eager to learn, with basic math and tool-handling abilities. The position is full-time with 5am–3:30pm hours, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and occasional Saturdays, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and employee

Qualifications

• Engine knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Desire and ability to learn basic engine knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
• Ability to use hand, air, and power tools.
• Able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Production Associate – 1 st shift 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, with frequent overtime required on Fridays, and occasional Saturdays.

Production Associates may work in assembly, testing, packaging, machining, or other production areas throughout our shop. All work is completed according to customer specifications, written work instructions, and company processes. Engine knowledge is helpful but not required—we are looking for people who are dependable and ready to learn.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Perform production duties by following written work instructions to assemble engines or engine components.
• Work within established production processes to meet quality standards.
• Complete visual and measurable inspections of work to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Use hand, air, and power tools safely after training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and contribute to a productive, team-focused work environment.
