Job summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for the 1st shift (5am–3:30pm, Mon–Thu) with overtime on Fridays and occasional Saturdays in Springfield, MO. You will work in various production areas, learn engine assembly and testing, and support a team-focused environment.

Prior engine knowledge is helpful but not required. We value dependable, trainable employees who communicate well and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance and satisfactory performance of duties.
• Desire and ability to learn basic engine knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract).
• Ability to use hand, air, and power tools after training.

Job description

Production Associate – 1st shift 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, with frequent overtime required on Fridays, and occasional Saturdays.

Production Associates may work in assembly, testing, packaging, machining, or other production areas throughout our shop. All work is completed according to customer specifications, written work instructions, and company processes. Engine knowledge is helpful but not required—we are looking for people who are dependable and ready to learn.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Perform production duties by following written work instructions to assemble engines or engine components.
• Work within established production processes to meet quality standards.
• Complete visual and measurable inspections of work to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Use hand, air, and power tools safely after training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and contribute to a productive, team-focused work environment.
