Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is hiring a Production Associate for the third shift in Rocky Mount, Virginia. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.50 for third shift. Duties include mass-producing windows and doors, ensuring quality control, and training new employees.

Job Details

Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Shift 1st: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday

Shift 3rd: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Training period requires working Monday through Friday 6am to 6pm and could last up to 6 weeks approximately.
• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
