Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread

• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
• Build the tire by applying new tread
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application
• Final inspection to assess a safe and quality product

About the Role: What will you do? As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or in other words, extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road! In our retread plants you will have the opportunity to support the retread process through various stages.

The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for a number of benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, as well as tire discounts.
