Job summary

Goodyear and its Raben Tire company-owned outlets are hiring for Retread Technician roles. Training will be provided; no prior experience required. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more.

You must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Responsibilities include inspecting tires for retread suitability, casing preparation, patching, tread application, curing, and final quality inspection.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic Computer Skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
• Building the tire by applying new tread
• Curing the tire to mold the retread application
• Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product

About the Role

The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

What will you do?
