Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread suitability.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Repair casing with patch or cement before applying new tread.
• Build tire by applying new tread.
• Cure tire to mold retread application.
• Perform final quality and safety inspection.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

About the Role:

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread
• Building the tire by applying new tread
• Curing the tire to mold the retread application
• Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product
