48forty Solutions, LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You will be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process and work to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role pays $17.05 per hour, with shifts Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$17.05/hr.

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
