48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Indianapolis, IN. You will set up our builders by operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation, contributing to the pallet manufacturing process.

The role offers hourly pay and shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime and a path for long‑term career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Overtime availability as needed.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr. - $17.50/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
