Job summary

Direct Source Meats is hiring a Production Associate - Packer to join our team. You will be responsible for packing finished products into boxes and may assist with meat preparation tasks, including grinding and packaging.

We welcome entry-level applicants and provide training; prior hands-on experience is a plus. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am start, with a full-time schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Prior work in a hands-on setting is helpful.
• Ability to stand for full shifts and lift moderate weights may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product into boxes.
• Assist with ground meat and hamburger packing as needed.

Direct Source Meats offers high quality, specialty meat products to customers. Established in 2001, DSM's raw plant is a 30,000 square foot USDA facility that specializes in the further processing of beef, chicken and pork for both retail and food service markets. DSM also includes a state of the art, 60,000 square foot cook plant.

Production Associate - Packer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for packing finished product into boxes
• Additional responsibilities may include meat (hamburger) packing and meat grinding

Qualifications

• Entry Level - no experience required - we will help you start and build a career!
• Any of the following previous experiences is a plus! - Warehouse worker, Warehouse associate, production, manufacturing, factory worker, line worker, general labor, meat processors, meat trimmers, butchers or any job where you work with your hands!
• Must bring a valid state-issued ID or driver's license, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to finish (7-9 hour shift)
