Position Summary:

The Production Associate at Pilgrim's is responsible for performing various production tasks on a rotating basis to support the manufacturing of value-added poultry products to meet order demands. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Process product using tools, manual labor, and equipment following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards and procedures.
• Follow operating procedures and meet quality and quantity expectations.
• Observe equipment operation, report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Train others using skills and knowledge gained from the position.
• Adhere to all company policies on personnel, quality, safety, and food safety. Foster a positive work environment by effective communication and teamwork.
• Recognize and address safety incidents and risks. Practice and enforce safe work habits organization-wide.
• Participate in process improvements and problem-solving using continuous improvement methodologies.
• Follow all animal welfare guidelines.
