Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Murray, UT is seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing operations. The role involves following shift directions, inspecting parts, packing items, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Training on safety and equipment is provided, with an emphasis on basic math and measurement accuracy. The position is on-site at the Murray facility, requiring light to moderate physical effort and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and/or label materials per production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers/Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
