Job summary

Qualifications

  • No prior manufacturing experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a physical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Move, handle, and secure lumber products according to instructions.
  • Stack finished products based on bundle size and customer requirements.
  • Label materials by product type, size, and count.
  • Band, bundle, and secure materials using strapping and corner protectors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies.
  • Record production activity on production sheets and keep area clean and safe.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in safety meetings and CI activities.

This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to build experience in manufacturing, production, or lumber operations.What We MakeWe manufacture laminated wood products used in RVs, cargo trailers, and manufactured or modular homes. Our operation includes an in-house mill that cuts and prepares materials prior to the lamination process, giving operators exposure to multiple stages of production.Key Responsibilities Move, handle, and secure lumber products and materials according to instructionsStack finished products based on bundle size and customer requirementsLabel materials by product type, size, and countApply individual tags before and/or after treating or productionBand, bundle, and secure materials using strapping and corner protectorsUse a staple gun and troubleshoot minor equipment issuesVerify correct quantities are bundled, labeled, and securedMaintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to a supervisorRecord production activity on production sheetsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist other areas by moving material and loading/unloading cartsFollow all safety, quality, and operational proceduresParticipate in safety meetings, continuous improvement (CI), and team activitiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsNo prior manufacturing experience required; lumber or production experience is a plusHigh school diploma or GED preferred, not requiredBasic math skills preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to follow instructions and work safely in a physical manufacturing environmentClick here to watch what a day in the life of a Production Associate looks like.### Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00/hour, depending on experienceShift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm*The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
