Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level II – 2nd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment.

  • Report Incidents: Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture.

  • Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met.

  • Use PPE : Consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment will protect you and your colleagues from potential hazards.

  • Environmental Awareness: Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment will support sustainability efforts.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience.

Physical Requirements
  1. Must lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times/hour

  2. Must be able to grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78‑80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers

  3. Must be able to lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.

  4. Must be able to press together a two‑handed retaining ring tool, 40 times/hour

  5. Must be able to insert retaining rings using one‑handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times/hour

  6. Must be able to stand/walk for 8‑12 hours/shift up to 2 hours consecutively

  7. Must push/pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb. force up to 30 feet
