Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Production Associate IV at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You will oversee daily production tasks, coordinate priorities with supervision, train team members on safe procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have an HS diploma or GED with relevant manufacturing experience, strong English communication, and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work priorities with the supervisor and communicate to the team.
• Assign tasks, guide and train team on safe procedures and performance expectations.
• Monitor and document work performed.
• Plan and organize daily activities to support workflow and goals.
• Assist team with technical issues and escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Ensure tools and materials are available; request resources as needed.
• Inspect, document, and track production metrics.
• Support preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance.
• Provide coverage during breaks and act as backup to the supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with EH&S and company policies.
• Produce high-quality work with organized area and punctuality.
• Complete post-offer vision examination as required.

As a Production Associate IV, you will carry out a variety of production tasks while supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and guiding team members to meet production and safety standards. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to coordinate activities in a fast‑paced environment.

This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate daily work priorities in alignment with the supervisor and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and train team members on safe, correct procedures and performance expectations.
• Monitor and ensure accurate documentation of work performed.
• Plan and organize daily activities to support efficient workflow and production goals.
• Assist team members with technical issues and elevate situations that require supervisor attention.
• Ensure the team has the necessary tools and materials; request additional resources as needed.
• Inspect, document, and track work completion and production metrics.
• Support preventive maintenance efforts and coordinate with maintenance as required.
• Provide coverage during breaks, absences, or high-volume periods and serve as backup to the supervisor when needed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and EH&S practices.
• Produce high-quality work, maintain an organized work area, and uphold strong attendance and punctuality.
• An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Associates Degree
• Knowledge of Solumina and MS Office is desirable
• Three to five years of manufacturing experience
