Job summary

Merrill Manufacturing Co. is seeking a General Production Associate I to help assemble products and monitor equipment for defects. You will work with teammates to meet deadlines and use forklifts to organize and retrieve items ahead of shipments.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability; prior forklift experience is helpful but not required, and a strong can-do attitude is valued for teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Forklift experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products in accordance with set specifications and quantities.
• Operates machinery within assembly process.
• Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Performs periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Paints parts either by wet paint or powder coat
• Observes and follows company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
