Job Purpose Statement

Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies.

Position Summary

Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles components into products, and supports quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and adhere to Parker’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures, including housekeeping guidelines.
• Perform duties in accordance with production standards and work instructions.
• Assemble products following specifications, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Assist in testing completed products.
• Maintain quality using judgment and measuring devices.
• Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution.
• Participate in area and facility clean-up efforts.
• Reassignments to other departments as needed.
• Provide ongoing training to employees and perform other duties as required.

Job Details

Type: Full-Time

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:15PM - 10:45PM

Pay: $17.50/hr plus $1.00 shift premium, some mandatory Saturdays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, work orders, and blueprints.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Reasoning skills to apply common sense to instructions and problems.
• Computer skills including MS Word and Excel preferred.
