Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc is hiring for a Production Associate 1st Shift Extrusions in Plainfield, Indiana. The role focuses on assembly of pool cover components, including cutting, cross seaming, and sewing, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will train with experienced leaders, work on a team, and gain hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience operating semi-automated machines.
• 0-3 years in manufacturing or production.
• Ability to read basic English and have good communication skills.

A little about the position:

Job Summary

Responsible for the assembly of product of pool covers. May be responsible for Cutting, Cross Seaming, webbing or stitching.Performance in creating a quality product.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Train with highly skilled leaders in all areas of swimming pool production
• Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
• Manufacturing experience such as heat-seals welding, kit-building, light fabricating, cutting, and sewing encouraged, but not necessary.
• Punctual and detail-oriented
• Experience using power tools , hand tools, and sewing machines.
• Work on a team of dedicated associates manufacturing swimming pools and pool components like thermoformed steps, structural foam molding of polymer panels, etc.
• What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
• 0-3 years’ experience in machine operation of semi-automated machines, and the use of hand tools
• 0-3 years in manufacturing or production
• Ability to read basic English and have good communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-12 hour shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multitask, work on a team, and work independently.
• Ability to work with one’s hands and be able to use hand tools such as drills and hammers.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand for 8-10 shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
