We are looking for a Production Associate 1st – Sewer for Covers Section at Latham Pool Products, located in Plainfield, Indiana.

Position Title: Production Associate 1st – Sewer for Covers Section

Location: Plainfield, Indiana

Employment Type: On-site | Status: Full-time | Salary Range: $20.75 – $22.18 per hour | Matrix: H-20 – H30

Bonus: Year End

Job Summary

Responsible for assembly of pool covers, including cutting, cross seaming, weaving, or stitching to ensure product quality using standard manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Train with experienced leaders in all areas of swimming pool production.
• Ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines for material handling and assembly.
• Work collaboratively with a team of associates manufacturing swimming pools and components such as thermoformed steps and structural foam panels.
• Meet production targets and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Operate semi-automated machines and maintain hand tooling as required.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. on 8‑12 hour shifts.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing sewing experience.
• 0‑3 years of experience operating semi-automated machines and using hand tools.
• 0‑3 years in manufacturing or production environments.
• Basic English literacy with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and function effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina for 8‑12 hour shifts and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
