Job summary

Quanex is seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our team in Orwell, Ohio. The Production Associate will perform tasks related to manufacturing cabinet doors, including sanding and operating woodworking machinery, packaging, and more.

Salary is $17.00–$26.46 per hour, based on experience, with a Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm schedule. We offer comprehensive benefits starting the first month after hire, including health, dental and vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance,

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required.
• 6 months+ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed work with high concentration.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
• Manual/finger dexterity skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Receives direction from supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with 5S standards.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Assists in other work areas when workload permits or requires.

Quanex Custom Components, a manufacturer of cabinet doors, is seeking people with strong work ethic to become part of our manufacturing team. The Production Associate will perform a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of cabinet doors which could include sanding, using woodworking machinery, packaging, and many more.
Salary: $17.00 - $26.46 per hour, pay based on experience.
Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm
