Quanex in Orwell, Ohio is seeking a Weekend Production Associate to perform assigned production functions safely and meet quality standards. The role runs Friday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic, growing manufacturing team.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with a potential increase after 90 days and a $1 bump to 20.40/hour that reflects a 20% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are met and rejects non-conforming product.
• Keeps the work area neat and orderly in line with 5S standards.
• Accurately and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting coworkers.
• Assists in other work areas when workload permits or requires.

What’s attractive about the Weekend Production Associate position?

• $20.40/hour (includes 20% shift premium)
• Shift Schedule: Friday-Sunday - 7:00am - 7:00pm

What Success Looks Like:

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
