Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate in Denver for 1st shift, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, with overtime as designated. The role involves fabricating components for window assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and following detailed work orders.

Ideal applicants are 18+, authorized to work in the US, and able to pass background and drug screening. Prior manufacturing and tape measure experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in manufacturing and reading a tape measure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations with material handling and loading/unloading.
• Use hand or power tools to complete workstation tasks.
• Read and follow work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

1st Shift

5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday- Thursday, overtime as designated

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
