Job summary

Quanex is seeking a dependable Production Associate to join our Day Shift team in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour, with a Monday-Thursday work schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Overtime on Fridays is possible, and Saturdays and Sundays are off. Successful candidates will follow safety procedures, arrive on time, take direction from supervisors, and contribute to a collaborative team environment while maintaining a clean, organized work area per 5S

Qualifications

• Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines and identify safety issues.
• Attend work on time for scheduled hours.
• Receive direction from and notify supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.

What’s attractive about the Production Associate position?
