Job Details

• Location: Miamiville, OH - Acetylene production & filling
• Shift: 2nd shift (11am-7:30pm)
• Starting pay: $22 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Inspect cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures and conducting safety checks. Analyze products for purity and correct mixtures.
2. Handle high-pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders. Prepare cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling, evacuate cylinders, and fill them by pressure and weight according to regulations.
3. Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
4. Manage paperwork to meet DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Complete quality control sheets.
5. Understand hazards, read and interpret cylinder labels, and accurately label cylinders.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing, filling, or loading experience preferred.
• Background in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills, ability to read safety data sheets.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities, independently, and under pressure.
• Attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
