Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates for the Albany, GA corrugated box plant. The role offers a base rate of $21.23 per hour with $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift and $1.25 for 3rd shift.

Overtime, weekends, and holidays are required as needed, and orientation starts on the 1st shift before assignment to 2nd or 3rd shifts. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, be flexible to work any shift, and commit to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift, stand, and perform tasks in a loud, high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing for up to 12 hours.
