Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing processes. You will load and unload materials from machines and conveyors, prepare items for processing, and assist in packaging and crate building.

You will also participate in 5-S housekeeping and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines, conveyors, and equipment.
• Place materials on equipment or work surfaces for processing.
• Wrap, stack, and band material or products.
• Build or assemble crates for packaging.
• Assist in 5-S housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
