Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3–6 months related experience or training; or equivalent
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents (safety rules, procedures, blueprints, etc.)
• Ability to read a scale and tape measure
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervision and management

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety guidelines and use PPE as required
• Maintain regular attendance
• Work in a team environment and assist others
• Interpret work orders and procedures
• Assemble, package, and move parts as directed to meet production goals
• Ensure safety devices are in place and report unsafe conditions
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Other duties as assigned by Leader
