Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. in Chilton, WI is seeking Production Associates for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am). You will safely move materials and operate on a fast-paced assembly line manufacturing Bernzomatic hand torches and propane cylinders.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to perform varied production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively in a team environment focused on Safety, Culture, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Follow all plant safety requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform production operations, including assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room, paint line, and product transfer.
• Follow detailed work instructions to manufacture quality parts safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections, identify defects, and address quality issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by counting, labeling, weighing, and tracking parts and materials.
• Collect and label material samples with identifying information.
• Stack steel products onto pallets, boxes, or bins.
• Assist with conveyor and stand placement.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Complete production paperwork and record daily production data accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines, tools, and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist team members as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to high-quality work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor.
