JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

2nd Shift: 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Saw operation
• Welding operation
• Fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows
• Performing in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting and manual tasks
• Operating various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Lifting glass onto build tables and roller racks
• Moving carts in and out of the production work area
• Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Assembling vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass units
• Offloading insulated glass units onto carts
• Using production reports to assist in planning
• Ensuring overall quality through quality audits and problem-solving activities to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately using a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly above shoulder height and below waist
• Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
