Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking a Production Associate - Test - Level 2 in our Rochester, NY facility. You will set up and test units per procedures using automated equipment and participate in cross-functional cell work.

You will identify proper equipment, document pass/fail results in the MES system, and assist with test logs for customer and regulatory requirements. IPC-A-610 certification is preferred but not required, and PCB testing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and understand test procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test units per procedures using automated equipment.
• Identify proper equipment to be used.
• Properly fill out production documentation.
• Notify Electronic Technician of non-conforming units or test fixtures.
• Identify electronic components (polarity, incorrect part, etc.).
• Rotate to different workstations and different cells as needed.
• Document pass/fail results and troubleshoot information in the MES System (Vision).
• Compile and validate test results and test logs for customer and regulatory requirements.
• Complete hour-by-hour forms or other documentation for cycle time/performance analysis.
• Use non-automated equipment when necessary (DMM, Oscilloscope).
